Visas

International visitors to the US may require a Visa. It is your responsibility to ensure documentation is correct and complete before you commence your journey. If you require a letter of invitation to secure your visa, please contact Kristina Plouchard at kplouchard@mpi-evv.com as soon as possible.

Airfare

Ground Transfers

Taxis depart from the designated taxi zones located at the roadway center islands, on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level of all terminals. Uniformed taxi coordinators are stationed at the taxi zones from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. to assist passengers with questions or concerns.

Ramp accessible taxis are available. Please contact the taxi coordinator to request a ramp accessible taxi, or phone *1191 from any airport courtesy phone.

Taxi drivers are required by airport regulation to accept fares to all Bay Area destinations.

Approximate fares to San Francisco:

• Downtown - $37
• Fisherman’s Wharf - $44

Metered rates apply to all destinations.  A $2.00 exit surcharge is included in all San Francisco taxicab meter fares for rides originating from San Francisco International Airport.  By sharing a ride, up to 5 persons can ride for the price of 1 person.

Driving Directions

From East: 

• Take By Bridge / Highway 80 East to the Fremont Street Exit.
• Turn Left onto Howard Street and continue for 4 blocks to the hotel entrance.
• The hotel entrance is located on the right before 3^rd Street.  Look for the red sign marked “Wheels”.

From North:

• Take the Golden Gate Bridge / Highway 1 / Highway 101 South exit at Marina Boulevard.
• Follow Marina Boulevard to Bay Street and turn left.
• Turn right onto Embarcadero, then turn right onto Howard Street.
• The hotel entrance is located on the right before 3rd Street.  Look for the red sign marked “Wheels”.

From West:

• Take Geary street to Market Street and turn left.
• Turn right onto New Montgomery, and then turn right onto Howard Street and proceed to the hotel.
• The hotel entrance is located on the right before 3rd Street.  Look for the red sign marked “Wheels”.

From South: 

• Take Highway 101 North to Highway 80 East towards Bay Bridge.
• Use 4^th Street exit, veer left onto Bryant Street, and continue to 2^nd Street.
• Turn left onto 2^nd Street, then turn left onto Howard Street.
• The hotel entrance is located on the right before 3^rd Street.  Look for the red sign marked “Wheels”.
